I am Pip Rae, the creator of The Gift of Safety, a unique combination of safety anchors and empowering meditations to support you in the rituals of self care that will build your confidence during some rough times.\n\nI too have felt insecure, anxious, fearful and unsafe not only in relationships but generally in the world. As a women who has both experienced trauma and absorbed it vicariously through family, the community and media, the sense of safety is a primary need of humans that is regularly disrupted and de-stabilised by our interactions with others and events around the world. \n\nFor a long time, women have been told to prepare and avoid places, circumstances and situations for their own protection. We have been burdened with the onus of tolerating the uncomfortable and defending ourselves against the dangerous, Media have shown us the possibility of danger and the vulnerabilities of women, lacing travel, public places and activities with fear. Violence against women not only costs lives, it impacts on our confidence, sense of self and insecurities. It affects our livelihood, our love life and lifestyle choices.\n\nYou are the recipient of a gift that reaches far beyond the physical.
